Operational Leadership in Afghanistan
From 2014 to 2024, Brant led the RRR headquarters and field operations in Afghanistan, overseeing:
- Security risk management and mitigation services
- Security enhancement projects
- Contract execution and quality assurance
- Client relations and stakeholder coordination
Working closely with humanitarian, developmental, public, and private organizations, Brant successfully managed security operations and infrastructure projects during some of Afghanistan’s most volatile periods.
Key Projects & Technical Expertise
Brant’s work includes the design, construction, and implementation of fortified safe rooms, forced entry solutions, and ballistic-resistant upgrades for facilities across Kabul and Faizabad. Notable clients include:
- Asian Development Bank (Afghan Resident Mission)
- KfW Development Bank (Kabul)
- Fichtner GmbH (Kabul & Faizabad offices)
These projects prioritized both physical security and client operational continuity in high-threat settings.
Engineering & Blast Vulnerability Consulting
From 2014–2016, Brant served as Operational Consultant to BMK Afghanistan Engineering & Construction LTD, a strategic partner of RRR. In this role, he:
- Conducted field surveys and data collection for Blast Vulnerability Assessments
- Supported installations of ballistic and forced entry solutions
- Provided security enhancement consultations for clients including UNDP and IOM
This collaboration strengthened RRR’s capacity to deliver integrated engineering and security mitigation services.
